That's exactly who I built Papico for. I'm Francisco — the person you call when something's gone wrong, or you're worried it's about to, and you've got no idea where to start.

the mission

I've spent over a decade in personal injury law, and most of it watching people go under-served. Injured workers who had no idea what they were owed. Families who couldn't find help in their own language. People who signed things they didn't understand, and paid for it later.

For years, I was the lawyer who came in and fixed those situations. Papico is me building the thing that stops them happening in the first place.

Full Transparency

I'll tell you the truth, even when it earns me nothing. If your matter is mine to take, I take it and go the distance. If it isn't, I'll tell you — and point you to the exact person who should have it. Knowing who to call is half the battle, and I've got the numbers.

And when I do send you elsewhere, I don't disappear. Need a second opinion later? A sanity check? Someone to explain what your new lawyer just said? I'm still here. That doesn't stop being true the moment you walk out.

Chilean roots

I grew up in Melbourne with Chilean parents. Spanish at home, English everywhere else — and somewhere in between, a real understanding of what it's like to face a system that wasn't built with you in mind.

That's not a line on a website for me. It's the reason Papico works the way it does. When you're already stressed and already out of your depth, doing it all in your second language makes everything harder. I take that part off the table.

Spanish isn't a service I offer. It's my first language. The whole conversation can happen in it - nothing lost, nothing watered down.
